Thursday was spent at an orphanage in the mountains of Honduras. I was really happy to see that these children are well taken care of. They have a lot of beautiful land to play on (with monkeys!!) and have people who take good care of them. I made a friend, Rosita, who showed me all around for the first half of the day. Afterwards, I held Ramon for hours- someone apparently tried to hurt him as a baby and he doesn’t easily trust people. He has trouble using his hands, too. But after about an hour he didn’t want to let go. Later I played with a lot of the kids with sword balloons. Here a a ton of pictures to see the day for yourself. I have to say I LOVED TODAY SO MUCH. Every kid was so much fun and I can’t wait to go back next thursday. :D
Rosita and I feeding los monos.
On the swings they kept saying, “Mas duro! Mas duro!” Que lindo.
Rosita is 5 years old!
Oh. P.S. It rains like crazy here. Every day.
